Carbonaro is a popular artist in Malta with a consistent growing following. His works are ‘ living artist contemporary ‘ yet still on the whole are connected to roots of traditional oil and print. Some of his works are colourful and abstract , many [ not all ] directly tie into recognisable Maltese effect landscapes and scenes. The larger oils of Malta are highly prized and a wide variety of works is available. Colourways are from muted to vivid and both fashionable and unfashionable colours and subjects are available. Prints of limited issue are good value and offer the collector a chance of a low cost entry point , with good chances of appreciation.
