PAIR set Lacquer panels , inlaid with mother of pearl. Large with intricate varied detail.
A pair of Vietnamese late 20th century lacquer , or lacquer effect panels . With signature and detail in mother of pearl / real natural shell. [ Not simulated shell ]. Plywood board with original or later plastic trim. Some curvature to ply. Minor defects and wear , some dirt. The painted black background has an overall crackle /crazing. This may be deliberate , or caused by shrinkage. This crackle looks like striations in some areas , and some areas of crackle have colour difference.
