Bright colours and original wood and gesso frames ; original hooks , never unscrewed ; frame with renewed gold coloured leaf . Circa 1850-1870. Naples is still shown as a small settlement. Vesuvius portrayed as usual. Loose sleeved locals painted in the usual manner.
